It’s time to cut through the labels that segregate us! It’s time to change whose voice is heard! It’s time to celebrate and embrace what unites us!
It seems the more radical you are the more the media responds. Join the Conversation provides a platform for everyday Australians to have their voice heard and share their story.
This campaign showcases the diversity of qualities and values that unite us as Australians and normalises our differences. It is a contemporary approach that looks at Australia’s unique identity.
The stories were captured at random (with consent). Every person was asked the following three questions:
1. What defines Australia?
2. What unites Australians?
3. How are they making a positive difference?
Each conversation lasted 5 minutes, giving us the essence of their story.
These stories have been produced into this book to ensure the current Australian identity is preserved and the stories that go with it are shared.
The book will allow readers to ask themselves the same three questions and continue the conversation with their own colleagues, friends and family!
